We provide programmes that promote choices and independence for adults and deliver our services in line with New Directions. Our aim is to assure that people with disabilities live life to its full potential. We create opportunities for adults to undertake meaningful roles in their local communities and become active citizens. Programme focuses on individual’s needs and wishes and all adults are supported in Person Centred Planning. Our service is as well about creating friendship, meeting new people, positive risk taking, being healthier in everyday life and expressing creativity. To support these goals, we organise outings and a variety of activities such as Health & Fitness Classes, Cookery & Nutrition Classes, Flower Arrangement and Art. We support adults in their local communities through community mapping and support our adults with advocacy through weekly in house sessions and monthly council meetings.
The CRC receive referrals from the HSE Occupational Guidance, Adult Day and Rehabilitative Training Services.
