Public Compliance Statement

The Central Remedial Clinic (‘CRC’) is committed to complying with The Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public (‘the Guidelines’) as formally discussed and adopted at a meeting of The Board on 16th March 2018.

CRC complies with the Governance Code for the Community, Voluntary and Charitable Sector.

  • CRC has a Donor Charter consistent with The Guidelines.
  • CRC regularly monitors compliance with The Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising and the CRC reports annually to the Charities Regulator.
  • CRC considers the Guidelines when planning all fundraising activity.
  • CRC provides honest, open and transparent disclosure when fundraising from the public.
  • CRC has appointed a senior member of staff to be responsible for compliance with The Guidelines.
  • CRC ensures that fundraising staff are provided with information and training on The Guidelines..
  • CRC has a feedback and complaints procedure consistent with the Guidelines. Feedback is recorded for review by relevant staff including the CEO and governing body. Feedback is responded to promptly and appropriately.
  • CRC prepares financial reports consistent with the requirements of the Charities Act 2009, which include a statement concerning the extent to which control of the organisation is independent of its funding sources. CRC prepare our accounts in accordance with FRS102 and Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) for Charities.
  • CRC ensures that all donations are tracked and recorded and complies with GDPR.
