In Memory - Mr Brian Power

CRC Chairperson 2020-2024

It was with the heaviest of hearts that we learned of the passing of our beloved Chairman, Mr. Brian Power. Brian was a dedicated, ever-present Board member, who dutifully and intently helped govern the CRC for the last four years.

Brian was a staunch supporter and advocate for the work of the CRC. He was a cherished friend and mentor to all staff and families that he came into contact with.

Brian grew up locally and as such the CRC played an early role in Brian's life - he himself was very proud of the fact that he learned to swim here.

Brian was passionate about life-long learning and dedicated his time to advocating for disability and human rights for our adults and children. He believed in the strength of the CRC community and demonstrated our mission of making a difference in everything he did. His presence, wit and jovial nature will be sorely missed throughout our organisation.

We extend our deepest sympathy to his loving parents Paul and Florence, his wife Myrtle, and children Zoe, Zack and Ewan.
