CRC School Update : Friday April 9th 2021

The CRC School and HSE Public Health have taken the decision not to reopen CRC School, Clontarf this Monday April 12th. This decision has been made with the support of the CRC Trustees, the Board of Management and the Department of Education and Skills.

For the week beginning Monday 12th April CRC School will resume virtual and remote learning.

On Thursday April 1st we carried out blanket testing of 87 staff and students . To date ( Friday April 9th) we have identified 20 positive Covid -19 cases. Additional testing will commence next week and we will continue to liaise with our families , HSE Public Health and Department Education and Skills. Following additional testing a full review will be conducted on Thursday 15th April.

Our thoughts are with the pupils, staff and families directly affected and we wish them a speedy recovery.

Clinical appointments are continuing both virtually and face to face. Our face to face appointments are managed through a strict clinical prioritisation process. We would urge all families to keep your appointments where possible or do your utmost to give advance notice so that appointments can be allocated to other clients, as this is valuable therapy time.
