What we do

Psychology includes topics such as how the brain works, how relationships develop and are maintained, and how our genetic makeup and cultural environment act together to make us who we are.

There are two kinds of psychologist in the CRC: Educational and Clinical. Their work can often overlap, but there are differences.

  • Our educational psychologists assist mainly with school-based issues such as study techniques, learning difficulties and behavioural problems

  • Our clinical psychologists assist with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and relationship challenges

Many of our psychologists also work in the CRC’s specialist clinics.
