Health & Safety

 

The Central Remedial Clinic is committed to managing and conducting its work activities in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2005.  The CRC operates in such a way as to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of employees and others who may be affected by their activities. This is achieved by the provision of

 

  • A safe place of work, including safe access and egress
  • Appropriate information, instruction and supervision
  • Emergency plans and procedures
  • Safe plant and equipment, articles and substances
  • Safe systems of work
  • Welfare facilities

 

In addition, we seek to

 

  • Determine and implement appropriate preventative and protective measures
  • Have regard to the general principles of prevention
  • Report prescribed accidents and dangerous occurrences to the Health and Safety Authority
  • Obtain, where necessary, the services of a competent person to advise on health and safety

 

The detailed arrangements for achieving these objectives are set out in the main body of the CRC Safety Statement, which is maintained by the CRC Human Resources department.
