Upper limb orthopaedic clinic

 

The upper limb orthopaedic clinic assesses any difficulties you are having with your arms or hands, with a view to surgery or injections of botulinum toxin. The effect of botulinum toxin is to temporarily weaken the tight muscle.

 

Children and adults who are referred to the upper limb orthopaedic clinic will probably have already been seen at the hand therapy clinic.

 

The upper limb orthopaedic clinic team includes staff from medical neuro-disability team, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
