Consultant in adult rehabilitative medicine

Our consultant in adult rehabilitative medicine assesses and advises about medical and treatment needs for adults with a physical disability

 

Consultant paediatric neurologist

The consultant paediatric neurologist assesses and advises about the investigation, management and treatment of complex neurological conditions in children and adolescents, such as epilepsies, muscular disorders and undiagnosed disorders.

 

Consultant ophthalmologist

Our consultant ophthalmologist diagnoses and treats visual disorders in children and adults.

 

Consultant paediatricians

Our paediatricians are key members of the medical and therapy team in the CRC. They provide medical care, ongoing assessment and advice throughout your child’s attendance at the CRC. They work closely with the therapy departments at all times.

 

Consultant child psychiatrist

The child psychiatrist assesses and treats children and adolescents who develop mental health disorders, in association with their physical disability.

 

Orthopaedic consultants

Orthopaedic consultants assess and treat bone and joint complications that may arise as a result of a child’s physical disability, such as hip dislocation, spinal curvature or complications from muscle spasticity.
